Gathering at Jeff's house

Went to Jeff's house yesterday for a army gathering (sounds weird rite). Was suppose to be a typical get-together until they brought up a birthday cake for my birthday. Was expecting it though...the signs were obvious, Jeff's birthday well-wishes to me. Wei liang and Jeff whispering to each other with their eyes locked onto me to make sure i wasn't listening to their conversation. Both of them disappearing together to buy something (and Wei liang, i am not as gullible as to believe u guys went to buy ice!!!)

But i really appreciate it. i can't really remember when was the last time i had a full cake for my birthday. My parents will take me out for dinner on my birthday but a birthday cake beats all other delicacies in the world. No matter what you put in your mouth, it still doesn't feel like a birthday without a birthday cake.

Other than that, it was a typical gathering. LTC and gang on the mahjong table while the rest of us test our skills on Jeff's PS3. Haha, i admit whacking Chen Kai on the PES 2009 was fun.

Last but not least (actually, i think it's the highlight of the day), Jeff's bread pudding. I've not heard of bread pudding before...thought it was some pudding wrapped in bread until he told me he needed like 4 hrs to prepare it. Turn out that his bread pudding tasted really great...will try to get the recipe from him. Left his house at abt 11pm.
